Willamette Valley Vineyards Opens $1.75 Million Shareholder Offering

Wine enthusiasts can now purchase a stake in Willamette Valley Vineyards as the Salem Hills winery launches a $1.75 million preferred stock offering. Running through the end of 2026, the campaign invites investors to fund further expansion while securing dividends and exclusive access to the company’s hospitality operations.

Shares are currently priced at $3.45, with a minimum entry of 300 shares. Investors can opt for a 6.3% annual cash dividend of $0.22 per share, or choose an "Owner Benefit Credit" that increases the value by 15% when redeemed for wine, dining, or lodging. The price per share is scheduled to rise to $3.95 on October 1, ahead of the December 31 closing date.

Beyond financial returns, shareholders gain access to perks including 25% discounts on wine and priority access to limited releases across the company's nine locations in Oregon, Washington, and California. CEO Mike Osborn noted that the offering serves as a bridge for wine lovers to participate in the winery's growth, which has been fueled by community investment since its inception.

The capital infusion supports a new expansion at the Estate, which will be marked by a groundbreaking ceremony on September 12. Founder Jim Bernau, who launched the winery in 1983, describes the project as a "tipping point" for the property. This development follows a period of high visibility for the brand, which recently secured the top spot in USA Today’s 10Best Readers' Choice Awards for both its tasting room and wine club for the third consecutive year.
