Vision Marine Technologies Authorizes Buyback of 326,523 Shares

Vision Marine Technologies will begin a normal course issuer bid, authorizing the repurchase of up to 326,523 common shares. The initiative, approved by the TSX Venture Exchange, allows the company to buy back approximately 5% of its outstanding stock over the next year to bolster shareholder value.

Vision Marine Technologies Authorizes Buyback of 326,523 Shares

The program launches August 7, 2026, and remains active through August 6, 2027. Vision Marine has tapped Ventum Financial Corp. to manage the repurchases across the TSXV, Nasdaq, and other permitted marketplaces. While the firm now possesses the authority to buy back shares, management retains full discretion over the timing and volume of any transactions, contingent on market conditions and liquidity.

CEO Alexandre Mongeon stated the move reflects a disciplined capital allocation strategy following recent balance sheet improvements. The company intends to cancel all acquired shares. Although the authorization is now in place, Vision Marine is under no obligation to complete the full buyback, and the company has not repurchased any shares during the previous 12-month period.
