The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., anchored by a diverse schedule of dog-centric activities ranging from lure courses and games to the hallmark costume contest. This year’s event has already secured $149,000 in sponsorship funding, bolstered by support from companies including Solon Manufacturing Co., Embrace Pet Insurance, and SwiftPaws. Kenneth Clarke, executive director of Rescue Village, noted that while the festival has evolved into a regional staple, its core mission remains funding essential medical care, shelter, and rehoming services for animals in need.

Woofstock Returns to Cleveland Polo Field for 33rd Annual Celebration
Ten thousand people and their canine companions are expected to descend on the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field on September 20, 2026, for the 33rd iteration of Woofstock. The event, a four-time winner of Cleveland Magazine’s Best East Side Fundraiser, serves as the primary annual driver for Rescue Village’s animal welfare programs.

This year’s official mascot, or "Alpha Dog," is Norman, a pet belonging to longtime board member Brian Greene. Norman’s likeness, rendered by cartoonist Jenny Campbell, will feature prominently in the event's branding. Beyond the staged attractions, organizers emphasize the community atmosphere, which includes a beer garden, food trucks, and live music. Attendees looking to secure spots in advance or gather further details can visit the official festival website at www.woofstock.fun.
