LONGi Joins FC Bayern Munich in Global Green Energy Partnership

The alliance links two entities defined by a pursuit of industry-leading standards. FC Bayern brings its "Mia san Mia" identity and massive global following, while LONGi, ranked as the world's top solar module manufacturer by Wood Mackenzie in 2026, contributes its engineering expertise. This includes a crystalline silicon-perovskite tandem solar cell that holds a 35.5% efficiency record and a long-standing AAA bankability rating.

Zhong Baoshen, Chairman and General Manager of LONGi, noted that while the two organizations originate from different sectors, they share an instinct for constant improvement. For FC Bayern, the partnership aligns with its "Mitnand" sustainability strategy. Rouven Kasper, Board Member for Marketing & Sales at FC Bayern, stated that the club is committed to working with the energy leader to keep renewables in the spotlight. The partners intend to explore integrating LONGi’s solar solutions into the club’s infrastructure, including training facilities and stadium grounds.

Beyond institutional goals, the collaboration seeks to bring solar technology into daily life, mirroring how football connects with fans globally. Charles Jiang, Vice President of LONGi, emphasized that the company’s discipline in creating reliable energy products for homes and businesses remains the core of this joint mission.
