Quebecor Inc. reported a robust second quarter for 2026, with consolidated revenues climbing to $1.44 billion and free cash flow rising 11.7% to $418.7 million. Quebecor Reports Double-Digit Dividend Hike Following Q2 Growth

The telecommunications segment served as the primary engine for growth, recording a 5.3% increase in adjusted EBITDA and a 4% rise in revenues. Mobile services proved particularly resilient, with a net gain of 53,200 subscriber connections and a 2.5% increase in average monthly revenue per user. To support long-term infrastructure goals, Quebecor increased its stake in Turkish software firm Etiya to 70%, aiming to accelerate the deployment of AI-powered business support systems across its Videotron, Freedom Mobile, and Fizz brands.

Financial discipline defined the quarter, as the company maintained a consolidated net debt leverage ratio of 2.87x, the lowest among major Canadian telecommunications providers. The media division also saw a significant turnaround, with TVA Group reporting a $23.3 million adjusted EBITDA—a sharp increase from the previous year—largely bolstered by high viewership during the NHL playoffs. Following these results, the board renewed its normal course issuer bid through August 2027 and confirmed the dividend hike from $0.40 to $0.45 per share, payable in September.
