Brint Ryan, who now assumes primary control of the Texas-based family entertainment brand.

Since taking the helm in 2015, Phillips oversaw a period of aggressive expansion that saw the 60-year-old company grow its footprint by 50% and extend its reach from three states to 12. His tenure focused on stabilizing the franchise system through standardized agreements, a revitalized marketing fund, and a return to the brand’s original food-first philosophy. Systemwide revenue nearly doubled over the past five years, even as the company navigated the economic volatility of the pandemic era.

Ryan, who founded the Dallas-based firm Ryan, LLC, brings an insider’s perspective to his new role as primary owner. Having served as a franchisee for years before becoming a co-owner in December 2025, he has spent the last several months working closely with Phillips to align on the company's trajectory. While Phillips remains in the CEO seat during the transition period, the company has yet to name a permanent successor. With more than 200 locations currently active or in development across the Southeast and Texas, the new ownership looks to maintain the momentum built during the brand’s recent decade of modernization.
