Cervoni’s background includes navigating complex enforcement actions involving the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. His practice focuses on fintech, digital assets, and broker-dealer litigation, areas where he bridges the gap between internal corporate strategy and courtroom defense. Paul J. Ferak, chair of the firm's Financial Services Litigation Practice, noted that Cervoni’s tenure at HSBC provides the firm with a critical in-house perspective on managing high-exposure class actions and banking sector volatility.

For Cervoni, the transition marks a return to the firm where he previously engaged as a client. He intends to leverage his cross-disciplinary experience in cybersecurity and structured finance to assist the firm’s international client base. A graduate of New York Law School, he enters a global practice that currently spans 51 locations and employs approximately 3,200 attorneys.
