Visuado launches browser-based tool to replace 360-degree cameras
Oslo-based proptech firm Visuado has unveiled Walkable, a platform allowing users to generate professional virtual tours using only a smartphone browser. By eliminating the need for dedicated 360-degree cameras, specialized apps, or external photographers, the startup aims to transform virtual tours from a premium service into a scalable industry standard.

For years, the real estate sector has relied on costly, hardware-heavy workflows to produce virtual property tours. High production expenses and the requirement for technical expertise have historically limited their adoption to high-end listings. Walkable disrupts this model by shifting the entire production process into the browser, allowing agents to scan and publish tours in minutes.
Jonatan Lagerstedt Krugerud, CEO of Visuado, argues that the industry has spent a decade obsessing over camera hardware when the real bottleneck was the production model itself. By reducing complexity and cost, the company envisions virtual tours becoming a default feature for every residential listing rather than a niche marketing tool.
The technology is already seeing traction among major Nordic players, including Skanska, Nåbo, and Eie Eiendomsmegling. Beyond direct use by brokerages, the platform integrates with FINN.no, Norway’s largest property marketplace, to streamline the publishing process. As the firm eyes broader enterprise adoption, the focus remains on making high-quality visualization as accessible as snapping a standard photograph.
