Scaling Creator Ads: The Math Behind the Infinite Creative Engine
With $130 million in ad spend analyzed across 65,000 Meta Partnership campaigns, a new report from Agentio challenges the pursuit of single viral hits. Instead, data suggests that the most resilient brands treat creator advertising as a high-frequency portfolio, systematically testing, cycling, and redeploying assets to combat inevitable creative fatigue.

The research highlights that Meta Partnership Ads consistently outperform brand-account creative, yielding 19% higher click-through rates and 10% higher conversion rates. This efficiency stems from Meta’s dual-dataset optimization, which leverages both the creator’s engagement history and the brand’s pixel data. However, the lifespan of these assets is limited; winning creator ads typically fatigue after 36 days, at which point acquisition costs jump by 80 percent.
To maintain performance, Agentio advises marketers to shift from campaign-based thinking to a continuous testing engine. The data shows that premature ad termination is a critical error: 45% of eventual winners appear to be underperformers when spend is below $100. By isolating test ads in clean sets and committing a minimum of $1,000 in spend before evaluating performance, brands can more accurately identify winners. Maintaining a stable of 10 high-performing ads requires a rigorous monthly cadence of testing 40 new assets.
Beyond Meta, the report emphasizes platform diversification as a survival strategy. Moving fatigued assets to YouTube Shorts allows brands to reach audiences with 30% lower CPMs, as roughly one-third of Shorts users are not active on Instagram or TikTok. According to Agentio CEO Arthur Leopold, the objective is not to find a single evergreen ad, but to build a system that replaces assets before performance dips and extracts maximum value from existing creative investments.
