Centene CFO Drew Asher to Retire as Chris Neczypor Named Successor
Centene Corporation announced a long-term leadership transition as Chief Financial Officer Drew Asher prepares to step down from his post on December 31, 2026. He will be succeeded by Chris Neczypor, a former Lincoln Financial executive, who joins the health insurer in September to begin a structured handover period.

Asher’s tenure as CFO, which began in 2021, coincided with a period of significant expansion for the healthcare enterprise. During his leadership, Centene grew its annual revenue from approximately $126 billion to $195 billion by 2025. Neczypor arrives from Lincoln Financial, where he served as CFO and held various leadership roles across investment and strategic planning since 2018. Centene concurrently reaffirmed its 2026 financial guidance, maintaining its outlook for adjusted diluted earnings per share of greater than $4.80.
