EECU Appoints Josh Brian as Executive Vice President

With nearly two decades of experience in the credit union sector, Josh Brian has been named the new Executive Vice President, Chief Growth and Marketing Officer at EECU. Brian transitions to the Fort Worth-based institution following a tenure as Chief Growth Officer at TDECU, where he oversaw broad regional operations.

Brian joins the executive leadership team to spearhead market expansion, brand development, and strategic partnerships. His previous portfolio included retail banking, mortgage production, and wealth management across the Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth markets. EECU President and CEO Lonnie Nicholson noted that the appointment aims to translate strategic vision into tangible results for the credit union’s 310,000 members.

Brian, a graduate of Houston Christian University, emphasized his commitment to balancing the credit union mission with aggressive growth strategies. As the organization manages over $4.7 billion in assets, his role focuses on deepening existing member relationships while introducing the brand to new demographics throughout North Texas. He continues his executive education at Texas A&M University.
