Investors in Mechanics Bancorp face a significant income reduction after the firm announced a 64% cut to its quarterly dividend. Alongside the reduction for Class A shareholders, the company lowered its dividend for Class B common stock to $2.50 per share, down from the previous $7 payout. Management confirmed that both dividends are scheduled for payment on Sept. 1, with the eligibility cutoff for stockholders of record set for Aug. 29.
