Expanding the Aftermarket Footprint
The acquisition centers on a 35,000-square-foot hangar located at the airport in Wilmington, Delaware, which will now serve as a key node in Bombardier’s domestic service operations. By integrating this facility, the company aims to provide more localized support and increased capacity for its growing fleet of business aircraft.
In addition to the fixed site, the deal—executed through the U.S. subsidiary Learjet—includes a fleet of 14 mobile repair trucks deployed throughout the country. These mobile units are designed to provide rapid-response technical assistance directly on the tarmac, helping operators minimize downtime during unscheduled maintenance events.
