Troilus Mining Names Marty Rendall as CFO to Lead Quebec Project Build

Rendall joins the company with a mandate to steer the financial strategy for the former Troilus mine site. He succeeds Susanna Milne, who will transition into the role of Vice President of Finance, maintaining oversight of the company’s internal accounting and budgeting. The move strengthens the executive suite as Troilus moves beyond the exploration phase.

Experience in Mine Development

Rendall’s background is defined by a 17-year tenure as the financial head of Victoria Gold, where he played a central role in advancing the Eagle gold mine from a prospect to an operational asset in the Yukon. His career also includes senior leadership roles at Electra Battery Materials, De Beers Canada, and Breakwater Resources.

The leadership change follows a May 2024 feasibility study that outlined a robust future for the Quebec-based asset. The report indicates the potential for a 22-year open-pit mining operation, positioning the project as a significant contributor to the region's mineral output. Troilus is currently focused on finalizing the permits and financing required to move the site into near-term production.
