Valmet to Supply Advanced Board Production Line for Asian Market
A major expansion in Asian packaging production is underway as Valmet secures a contract to deliver a complete coated board making line. Scheduled for a 2028 start-up, the project integrates advanced automation and lifecycle services designed to elevate output quality and operational efficiency for an undisclosed regional customer.
Markus Veikkola, Sales Director for China and Asia Pacific, noted that the company’s previous regional installations currently serve as industry benchmarks for productivity. By bundling technology with maintenance and automation, Valmet intends to secure high-tier output levels throughout the investment's lifecycle. While the financial details of the agreement remain confidential, the deal was officially booked in the third quarter of 2026.
