Dr. Daniel Amen Celebrates Two Decades of Public Television Health Advocacy

Two decades after he first brought brain health education to the airwaves, psychiatrist and author Dr. Daniel Amen is returning to the stage. On October 7, 2026, he will film his 20th public television special, "BRAIN RESCUE," before a live audience at the First Christian Church of Huntington Beach.

The upcoming program focuses on the "Amen WHOLE-4" methodology, an integrated approach targeting four core pillars of well-being: brain and body, mind, relationships, and spirit. By synthesizing lessons from past successful specials like "Memory Rescue," the event aims to provide viewers with actionable strategies to safeguard cognitive function and emotional health.

"Your brain is involved in everything you do, how you think, how you feel, how you act and how you interact with the people you love," said Dr. Amen, emphasizing the practical nature of the new material. The session begins at 9:30 a.m. PT, with the filming followed by a live audience Q&A. Residents interested in attending can register through the official event page for the morning session, which marks a significant milestone in the psychiatrist's long-standing effort to make complex neurological science accessible to the general public.
