Investors Face November Deadline in AST SpaceMobile Securities Lawsuit

Investors who purchased AST SpaceMobile securities between March 4, 2025, and July 15, 2026, have until November 13, 2026, to seek lead plaintiff status in a class action lawsuit filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Investors Face November Deadline in AST SpaceMobile Securities Lawsuit

The litigation, captioned Hunter v. AST SpaceMobile, Inc., alleges that the company misled shareholders regarding its capital requirements, liquidity position, and competitive standing in the direct-to-consumer satellite market. According to the complaint, defendants failed to disclose that increasing capital demands would likely lead to significant share dilution and debt accumulation, while simultaneously overstating the company's progress and user adoption rates in the United States and Japan.

Financial pressures intensified following a series of negative disclosures throughout late 2025 and 2026. A notable turning point occurred in January 2026, when Scotiabank downgraded the stock, citing stiff competition from SpaceX’s Starlink and delays in satellite deployment. The situation culminated on July 15, 2026, when the firm announced the pricing of $1 billion in convertible senior notes. This disclosure triggered a 17.04% decline in the company’s share price the following day. Law firm Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP is currently evaluating claims for affected investors.
