Amit Singh Takes Helm at Omnissa to Drive Agentic Endpoint Strategy
Amit Singh, the former President of Palo Alto Networks and a Google Cloud co-founder, has been appointed CEO of Omnissa, effective immediately. He succeeds Shankar Iyer to lead the digital workspace company as it pivots toward the integration of autonomous AI agents within enterprise endpoint management systems.
Omnissa currently serves over 15,000 enterprise customers and manages tens of millions of endpoints. The company recently secured the top position across four categories in Gartner's 2026 Endpoint Management Tools report. According to Angad Singh, a member of the Omnissa Board of Directors and Co-Head of Software Private Equity at KKR, the company is positioned to capitalize on the shift toward AI-driven workflows by leveraging its existing footprint on enterprise devices. Singh views this transition as a fundamental architectural change comparable to the rise of personal mobile devices in the workplace, requiring a secure control plane that IT leaders can trust.
