Wyndham Hotels Expands Share Repurchase Program by $400 Million

Geoff Ballotti, president and chief executive officer of the Parsippany-based company, pointed to the strength of the firm’s business model as the primary driver behind the expansion. Wyndham currently manages a global network of approximately 8,400 hotels across 100 countries, spanning brands from Super 8 and Days Inn to the upscale Registry Collection.

Execution of the buybacks remains fluid. The company stated that specific timing and volume will depend on prevailing market conditions and regulatory requirements. Repurchases may occur through open market transactions or private negotiations, with no fixed expiration date on the authorization. Wyndham retains the flexibility to suspend or discontinue the program at any time, subject to the volatility of the broader hospitality sector.
