Returning host Frantzes Lys, a clinical social worker and public speaker, will guide listeners through personal narratives centered on overcoming emotional barriers. The upcoming season addresses contemporary stressors, including the impact of social media on parenting, the process of starting over after significant loss, and maintaining mental clarity during relentless news cycles. New episodes will be released every Wednesday.

This partnership between Boston Globe Media’s Studio/B and Point32Health aims to normalize discussions surrounding mental health. Previous seasons achieved notable success, reaching the top spot on Apple’s mental health podcast charts and earning nominations for Webby and Shorty Awards. Angus Macaulay, chief commercial officer of Boston Globe Media, noted that the series' success reflects a growing demand for accessible conversations about mental health. Edward Walker, president of government markets for Tufts Health Plan, added that these stories serve to provide listeners with both insight and hope. Interested audiences can access the series on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and the dedicated project page at Globe.com/TurningPoints.
