Diversis Capital Acquires Tideworks Technology from Carrix
Los Angeles-based private equity firm Diversis Capital has acquired a majority stake in Tideworks Technology, a global provider of terminal operating systems. The deal marks the end of a 25-year tenure under parent company Carrix, positioning the Seattle-based software developer to operate as an independent entity focused on expanding its logistics footprint.

Carrix, which is majority-owned by Blackstone Infrastructure Partners, sought a buyer with specific software expertise to guide the business through its next phase. Tideworks President Subbu Bhat stated that the transition allows the company to independently scale its product roadmap while maintaining service standards for its global customer base. Kevin Ma, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Diversis, noted that the firm intends to invest significantly in the team and platform to solidify Tideworks' position as a market standard in port and logistics technology.
