The Hunter WOLF is a 6x6 diesel-electric hybrid platform classified at TRL-9, meaning it is a production-ready system already validated through Force Design Innovation and Assessment events. Designed specifically for dismounted infantry, the vehicle is capable of carrying a 2,800-pound payload across challenging terrain, including 60% grades and 40% side slopes. Its architecture allows for configurable payloads, enabling the unit to pivot between sustainment tasks and emergency casualty evacuations as battlefield conditions evolve.

Army Taps BLADE's Hunter WOLF for Infantry Logistics Initiative
The U.S. Army has selected BLADE as one of six partners for its Infantry Last Tactical Mile initiative, aiming to modernize battlefield support. The company will deploy its Hunter WOLF, a hybrid autonomous ground vehicle built to handle the most hazardous segments of logistical resupply and casualty evacuation missions.

According to Tom Van Doren, President of Robotics at BLADE, the vehicle is specifically engineered to operate in contested environments where human exposure to fire or hazardous conditions is highest. By shifting the burden of supply transport to autonomous systems, the military seeks to reduce personnel risk during the final, most dangerous stretches of a mission. The selection formalizes BLADE’s role in the Army's broader mission autonomy portfolio, marking a shift toward integrating mature, field-proven robotics directly into maneuver formations.
