Leifras Revenue Hits Record High Amidst Strategic Expansion

Tokyo-based sports operator Leifras Co., Ltd. recorded its highest first-half revenue to date, reaching JPY 5.98 billion for the period ending June 30, 2026. The 8.9% year-over-year growth underscores a broader trend of profitability, as the company scales its social business and youth sports school operations across Japan.

Leifras Revenue Hits Record High Amidst Strategic Expansion

Operating income climbed 35.9% to JPY 92.3 million, while net income rose 43.5% to JPY 77.1 million. CEO Kiyotaka Ito attributed these gains to the company’s dual-track focus on sports education and local community engagement. The social business segment, which includes school club activity support, proved particularly robust, expanding its reach to 478 contracted schools—a 37% increase compared to the previous year.

While the core sports school business saw a marginal 0.9% dip in membership to 68,873, the revenue generated by this segment still grew by 5.4%. To sustain this momentum, Leifras has issued financial guidance projecting full-year revenue between $82.9 million and $95.7 million. This outlook incorporates the recent integration of Well Resources, Tokai Sports, and SWIFT JAPAN, signaling a shift toward aggressive acquisition-led growth for the remainder of the fiscal year.
