The deployment includes 105 company line workers, supported by 150 contract line technicians and 100 vegetation management specialists. These teams are expected to remain in the region for several days to address outages caused by the storm. Jason Fabre, Vice President of Distribution and Special Response at CenterPoint, emphasized that the company is extending the same commitment to Florida residents that it provides to its home base in Greater Houston.

Mutual aid remains a critical component of utility disaster response. By sharing workforce assets, companies can perform damage assessments and repairs more efficiently than working in isolation. This coordinated approach allows utilities to navigate extensive infrastructure damage safely while reducing the duration of outages for affected communities.
