Swedish biotech firm BioArctic has landed a significant research partnership with Eli Lilly, aiming to integrate its proprietary BrainTransporter technology with an undisclosed Lilly drug candidate. The agreement, valued at up to $800 million, grants BioArctic an immediate $30 million upfront payment for the development of new neurodegenerative treatments.
This deal marks the fourth time BioArctic has successfully licensed its platform to a major pharmaceutical partner.
