The development aligns with a broader 370-acre regeneration strategy for the Old Trafford area, orchestrated alongside the Trafford Council and the Old Trafford Regeneration Mayoral Development Corporation. Club leadership confirmed they are initiating direct consultations with local businesses affected by the transition to mitigate potential disruption. Beyond the stadium itself, the master plan anticipates the construction of 15,000 new homes, including dedicated affordable housing units. Projections suggest the total regeneration project will generate 48,000 local jobs and provide a national economic boost of more than 90,000 roles.
