Pascal Mayer Joins Latham & Watkins New York Partner Ranks
Latham & Watkins has recruited Pascal Mayer to its New York office, strengthening the firm’s Executive Compensation, Employment & Benefits Practice. Mayer, who joins from Ropes & Gray, brings extensive expertise in advising private equity sponsors and management teams on complex transaction-related compensation and governance structures.

Marc Jaffe, managing partner of the firm’s New York office, noted that Mayer’s experience enhances the firm’s ability to provide full-service support to private equity clients. Global practice chair Larry Seymour added that Mayer’s arrival provides critical depth to the team as compensation considerations become increasingly integral to deal execution. His transition follows the recent addition of partner Erica Aho, marking a period of active growth for the group. Mayer, a graduate of McGill University and the University of Alberta, will integrate his practice into the firm’s existing global platform.
