Based in San Marcos, Texas, Berry Aviation provides critical intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations, alongside comprehensive maintenance and repair services. Bristow Chief Executive Chris Bradshaw expects the acquisition to align with broader market shifts, specifically citing rising global defense spending and the trend toward outsourcing mission-critical aviation tasks. The deal, funded entirely by cash on hand, is scheduled to close in the third quarter pending standard regulatory conditions. Berry’s existing leadership team will remain in place, and operations will continue at current facilities.

Simultaneously, Bristow announced plans to divest its Norway Offshore Energy Services business. This move serves as a pivot toward its updated portfolio strategy, though the company noted that the timeline and specific structure for the Norway sale remain contingent on market conditions.
