Tiffany Ford Honored for Leadership at UMCU
Tiffany Ford, CEO of the University of Michigan Credit Union, received the Woman of Achievement award on June 6 from the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity’s AAYI Alumni Chapter. The honor recognizes her long-standing commitment to community-focused leadership and her efforts to empower members across Southeast Michigan through service.
Beyond institutional growth, Ford has prioritized a community-first strategy, forging partnerships with local schools, nonprofits, and professional sports organizations. Her approach emphasizes financial literacy and youth initiatives, which she views as a personal responsibility to pay forward. During her acceptance, Ford noted that her own career trajectory was built on the support of others, and she now dedicates her time to creating similar opportunities for those in the community. Outside of her executive role, she maintains an active presence on several boards, including Michigan Medicine and Ann Arbor SPARK, while continuing her volunteer work.
