Great American Media has appointed veteran communications strategist and ministry leader Jennifer Nickerson as Vice President of Ministry & Community Engagement. Tasked with bridging the gap between the network and faith-based organizations, Nickerson will oversee national outreach initiatives to bolster the company’s mission of producing values-driven, family-friendly entertainment.

Nickerson transitions to this role after serving as President and CEO of JEN Ambitions, LLC, where she directed brand messaging across digital, television, and live event platforms. Her professional background includes leadership tenures at Happy State Bank and Oliver Fox Advertising, complemented by over two decades of experience in worship and church leadership. Having held roles at institutions such as Fellowship of the Parks and Upper Room Dallas, she brings a dual-track history of corporate communications and theological service to the network.

Chief Brand Officer Kaitlyn Haubrich noted that Nickerson’s arrival is intended to deepen the company’s footprint among audiences who prioritize faith-based content. The appointment aligns with the network’s strategy to expand its portfolio, which currently includes the Great American Family linear channel, the Pure Flix streaming service, and the GFam+ application. Nickerson will work directly with the executive team to cultivate partnerships with churches and community organizations, aiming to integrate grassroots ministry efforts with the company's broader media and live event strategies.
