CLOU Electronics Debuts High-Capacity Storage Solutions in Munich

At The Smarter E Europe 2026 in Munich, CLOU Electronics and Midea Energy unveiled a suite of storage technologies designed to optimize European utility and industrial power networks. The partnership focuses on scaling capacity while addressing the critical challenge of cell-level consistency in high-density battery systems.

CLOU Electronics Debuts High-Capacity Storage Solutions in Munich

The company introduced the Aqua-C3.0 Ultra, a utility-scale unit packing 5.154 MWh into a compact container weighing under 39 tons. By minimizing the physical footprint, the system reduces logistics and installation expenses compared to traditional 20-foot alternatives. For commercial and industrial users, the Aqua-E261 offers 261 kWh of capacity using 314Ah cells, utilizing advanced cooling to keep cell temperature variances at or below 2.5°C.

Beyond hardware, CLOU addressed the technical hurdles of next-generation energy storage with a new white paper on cell-level DC-DC energy transfer. This approach uses two-way scheduling to manage consistency among 500Ah-plus cells, a move the company claims boosts full-lifecycle revenue by approximately 4%. In tandem with Midea’s cooling and supply chain infrastructure, the firms also showcased a specialized energy architecture tailored for AI-driven data centers, integrating HVDC and maglev liquid-cooling technology. CLOU currently operates projects across Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, and North Macedonia, with over 50 commercial sites active in markets including the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands.
