Danielle Lemmon Recognized by Marquis Who’s Who for Energy Leadership

Since joining Ramboll in 2024, Dr. Lemmon has leveraged her multidisciplinary background to guide clients through the complexities of shifting energy markets, critical mineral supply chains, and data center growth. Drawing on her experience with 16 billion dollars in federal selections, she specializes in crafting narratives that help secure private and public funding while navigating intricate regulatory landscapes. Her approach combines technical precision with a focus on equity, ensuring that infrastructure projects prioritize community resilience.

Her expertise is rooted in a diverse professional history, including a two-year tenure as a portfolio advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations. There, she played a key role in directing federal investments toward industrial decarbonization and energy storage, notably using demographic data to identify regions most vulnerable to power outages. Before her federal work, she served as a postdoctoral fellow at the IBS Center for Climate Physics, studying the historical impacts of climate change on human migration. A physicist by training, Dr. Lemmon earned her doctorate from the University of Colorado-Boulder, where she specialized in atmospheric and oceanic sciences. Beyond the boardroom, she remains active in Washington, D.C.’s creative scene, using stand-up comedy to engage audiences on environmental issues, and continues to mentor emerging scientists through the DOE Alumni Association.
