Carrico’s career spans more than 23 years, during which he has held senior roles at firms including DrFirst, Inc., where he served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Administration. His tenure at the company earned him recognition from global research firms for establishing best practices in human capital management. Before that, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Salisbury Management and held multiple leadership positions at Laureate International Universities, where he played a pivotal role in the organization’s 2017 IPO by restructuring its HR functions to meet public entity standards.

His professional expertise is rooted in a blend of psychology and business administration, holding a degree from Towson University and an MBA from the University of Liverpool. Throughout his career, Carrico has worked across diverse sectors—including private equity and healthcare—focusing on workforce planning and organizational development. Beyond his corporate work, he maintains active involvement with the Society for Human Resource Management and engages in local community service. As he looks toward his next professional chapter, Carrico intends to focus on mentoring emerging leaders and assisting organizations undergoing significant operational shifts.
