Urban Arrow Enters Longtail Market with New Breeze E-Bike

After fourteen years of dominating the front-loader market, Urban Arrow is pivoting toward the agile longtail segment with its new Breeze model. Designed to bridge the gap between heavy-duty cargo haulers and standard bicycles, the bike targets suburban families seeking a familiar, intuitive ride without sacrificing serious carrying capacity.

Urban Arrow Enters Longtail Market with New Breeze E-Bike

The Breeze marks a strategic shift for the Santa Cruz-based manufacturer, which has built its reputation on large-box cargo bikes. By utilizing 24-inch wheels, the company aims to provide a stable, confidence-inspiring ride that handles more like a traditional bicycle than a specialized hauler. Under the hood, the bike features a Bosch Cargo Line motor, a Gates Carbon belt drive, and an Enviolo hub, ensuring that the performance matches the brand’s premium pedigree.

Despite its compact footprint, the bike is built for heavy lifting. It boasts a total payload capacity of 440 pounds, with an extended rear rack capable of supporting 176 pounds, enough to accommodate two children. The frame features a low step-through design and the integrated MIK HD system, allowing users to swap accessories for passengers or groceries in seconds. Retailing at $6,999, the Breeze is available now across the U.S. and Canada, with a launch promotion that bundles over $700 worth of passenger accessories.
