The partnership kicks off earlier in August during the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival in Canton, Ohio, where B.A.S.S. will host fan engagement activities. This cross-sport collaboration aims to bridge two passionate fan bases, emphasizing the mental toughness and preparation common to both professional wide receivers and tournament anglers. According to B.A.S.S. Chief Operating Officer Phillip Johnson, the event celebrates the competitive spirit inherent in both fields.

Clayton, New York, will serve as the host site for the main event. Fans can meet the participating athletes during an autograph session on August 30 before watching the teams compete on the water the following day. The roster of participating Hall of Famers also includes Rondé Barber, Robert Brazile, Cris Carter, Rickey Jackson, Steve Largent, Kevin Mawae, John Randle, Joe Thomas, and Kellen Winslow. A public weigh-in and awards ceremony in downtown Clayton will conclude the weekend, offering spectators a chance to see the results of the pairings firsthand.
