The collection addresses a growing demand for safety gear that prioritizes comfort and style without compromising on industry-standard protection. According to Lauren Mooney, General Manager of GLO, the line was developed in response to workers who already favor the brand in their personal lives and sought that same individuality on the job site. The launch includes dedicated models specifically engineered for the female foot shape to ensure a precise, supportive fit.

Adidas Enters PPE Market With Professional Safety Footwear Line
Adidas is expanding into the personal protective equipment sector, partnering with GLO Brands B.V. to launch ADIDAS PRO WORK. This new range of safety footwear aims to bring the company's athletic performance DNA and aesthetic design to industrial environments, including logistics, manufacturing, and transportation, starting this August across Europe.
Technically, the footwear is designed for diverse work surfaces, ranging from controlled indoor floors to varied outdoor conditions. Each pair is metal-free and ESD-certified, featuring lightweight components such as fiberglass toecaps and textile anti-penetration insoles to mitigate fatigue during long shifts. Certain models incorporate a Pressure Equalizer to aid those who spend significant time kneeling or crouching. With prices ranging from €100 to €150, the collection will be available through select European retailers and distributors.
